Course Description

Are you a business owner in Georgia looking to GROW your business?  Attend this introductory program to understand how QuickBooks can help your business be more efficient to successfully take your business to the next level.  

This session will provide you with the information necessary to ensure that you are running the business successfully by managing your numbers.  Financial statements are not just another requirement for tax purposes. These reports are key to a successful business operation. Learn how to use QuickBooks to your advantage and ensure that you are being profitable, reduce time by ensuring that you integrate applications that work for you, set up internal controls by setting up roles and permissions, in addition to setting up a system where you can track your sales representative and expenses.  

Who should attend: Business owners with at least 2 years in business. Business Owners thinking about using QuickBooks online for their business. 

 

Course Outline

 

  • How to save time by using estimates and invoicing system in QuickBooks Online.  

  • How to generate, read, and analyze financial statements.  

  • How to simplify the process of tracking sales and customers by tracking sales representatives, expenses, and set up custom pricing.  

  • How to setup roles and permissions for users 

  • How to navigate the system templates and make modifications after initial setup.   

  • Introduction to applications that can be integrated into the system.  

Learner Outcomes

 

  • Understand the key components of using the estimate and invoicing feature in QuickBooks.  

  • Identify the different reports available in QuickBooks Online and learn how to read and analyze the report to make financial decisions.  

  • How to set up internal controls by learning how to create usernames and assign permissions within the software.  

  • How to save time by setting up the system to track sales per sales representative and track expenses/product cost. 

  • Identify applications that can be integrated with the system to save you time when running and operating your business.
