Course Description

This class for owners and leaders of established businesses aims to raise awareness of operating efficiency and quality consistency as a strategy to improve the profitability and overall value of their business.

Principles in the operations area such as waste control and quality management, including business process analysis and application of improvement solutions at the tactical level, will be discussed.

Course Outline

  • The effects of operating efficiency and quality consistency on the financial health of business
  • Defining business processes and identifying improvement opportunities
  • Developing and implementing process improvements to drive efficiency, quality, and – ultimately – profitability and business value

  • Awareness of operating efficiency and quality consistency as an influencer of profits and business value
  • Familiarity with steps to assess and improve business processes
  • Identifying, developing, and implementing improvement solutions
