Course Description

As a business owner, you will exit your business. Do it on your own terms by preparing ahead of time to enhance your business's worth and secure an optimal sale. Participants will receive an industry-specific, personalized business valuation guideline designed to aid in crafting a comprehensive exit strategy. Participants will also have an opportunity to have their questions answered in class by a distinguished panel of experts which includes business brokers, an accountant, an attorney, and a business consultant.

Learner Outcomes

1. Strategically prepare and position your business for maximum sale value.
2. Identify and address critical issues before they impact your sale.
3. Explore valuation methods and inputs that can impact your sales price.
4. Determine favorable sale terms to achieve your exit goals.
5. Attract the right buyers and negotiate the best possible deal.
6. Assemble a team to maximize a smooth sale and transition of your business.
