Course Description

Starting a business from scratch isn't the only path to entrepreneurship- A rapidly growing trend is entrepreneurship through acquisition. And it's also an alternative way to grow an existing business. Whether you are interested in becoming a small business owner or are an existing business owner looking to grow through acquisition, this program is for you!

  • Why Buy: Considerations for buying vs starting
  • Locating a business to purchase Analyzing the business with an emphasis on financials
  • Negotiating the purchase
  • Financing the business acquisition
  • Building a winning team

Learner Outcomes

Attendees will learn:

  • How to find a business for sale
  • How to analyze a business for sale
  • What lenders need and how to get the purchase financed
