Course Description

Virtually every business has one thing in common right now: learning to navigate the waters of uncertainty in this "new normal." In this conference, we will feature business leaders from lending, human resources and labor, cybersecurity, and international trade industries to lend their expertise to Georgia's small businesses. Whether you are struggling to find access to capital, take full advantage of available tax credits, find and retain qualified employees, mitigate your liability from cybersecurity or other threats, or identify avenues for finding new customers or suppliers internationally, this conference is for you.

Learner Outcomes

Attendees will learn:
  • Trends related to access to capital, labor and staffing, and business in Northeast Georgia
  • How to take advantage of Georgia's tax exemptions and credits for businesses
  • How to finance their business with accounts receivable loans and SBA financing
  • HR strategies to attract/retain qualified job applicants, outsource HR, and utilize veterans in the workplace
  • How to protect against cybersecurity threats and mitigate liability with commercial liability insurance
  • Techniques to find new customers and suppliers internationally
