Course Description

Today, women-owned businesses account for more than 12 million American companies, which generate $1.9 trillion in revenue and employ 9.4 million workers. The Federal Government and private sector purchase BILLIONS of dollars in goods and services each year. By law, a certain percentage must be awarded to certified Women-Owned businesses. Less than 1% of Women-Owned businesses are certified and able to compete. Learn eligibility and requirements to apply for the Women-Owned businesses (WOSB), and the Women’s Business Enterprises (WBE). Additionally, learn about alternative financing for women business owners.
