Course Description
Often, small business owners are not aware of what could go wrong by misclassifying employees as contractors. There is a significant difference between a W-2 employee and a 1099 contractor, especially as it relates to tax implications and legal issues with IRS and DOL. This program is designed to inform you of the requirements for each structure and when it may be permissible to use one over the other, along with the pros and cons of each structure.Course Outline
