The Georgia Department of Economic Development's Brazil office is offering this webinar to inform Georgia companies of export opportunities in the defense and security industry in Brazil. The webinar will feature Brazilian speakers who will detail how a Georgia company can identify and pursue export opportunities. The webinar is a practical educational opportunity for Georgia companies seeking to expand their markets.

Course Outline

  • Overview of the Brazilian Market by the US Commercial Service Officer
  • Procurement opportunities for the local military police markets by the Director of Supply and Maintenance at the Military House- Brasilia
  • Tips to do business in the Defense & Security Market by the CEO at AVD do Brasil

Learner Outcomes

Attendees will learn:

  • Opportunities that exist for exporters interested in the Brazilian defense and security market
  • An understanding of the regulatory and procedural aspects of selling to the defense and security industry in Brazil
  • Knowledge of the resources available to facilitate and support exporting to Brazil's defense and security industry
