Course Description

This one-and-a-half-hour workshop is intended for small business owners interested in learning how to do business with the University of Georgia. This program will provide them with information on how to build a purchasing relationship with the UGA.

Enrollment is limited to a small cohort of business owners to ensure time for networking and relationship-building.

  • Learn about the University of Georgia Procurement Office's available opportunities.
  • Understand the procurement process related to suppliers, materials, equipment, and contractual services available within the University of Georgia.
  • Develop an actionable strategy that supports your supplier application process.
  • Find out the information related to competitive solicitations and Bids.
  • Learn how to contact and connect with the procurement department showcasing your supplier capabilities and request a meeting. Including how to identify the appropriate POC within the department.
